Today is the 50th anniversary of the launching of Sputnik 1, the world’s first artificial satellite launched into genocentric orbit. It fueled a lot of fear in the U.S. because they feared the USSR could spy on them because Sputnik was visible with the naked eye. It was a real crisis and really got the Space Race going and fueled the fire of the Cold War.

A Call to Close 1 Million Bank of America Accounts
They Do Not Deserve Their Own Employees
The banking industry is a cut-throat marketplace to try to get and maintain a foothold on the competition. Bank of America is no different, struggling to maintain their marketshare to the smaller, catchier competition such as Wachovia and Washington Mutual (WaMu). Here is my call for action and why:
I call for 1,000,000 Bank of America accounts/credit cards closed as a direct result of this article spreading like wildfire to teach the Big Companies that they exist because of the little people, internal and external.
If you end up closing your account(s)/card(s) as a result of this article, please leave a comment so I can track the impact this is having. Why am I so bent on such a drastic campaign to destroy a company? Well, it’s personal, but not unreasonably so. Everyone can appreciate justice and a balance in the world, and this is how balance will be achieved.

Fingers of the Future
I love my Wired magazine, and I’ve been waiting to put this article up, so here it is. Dan Didrick of nearby Naples, FL is quite an inventor to have come up with such a brilliantly simple prosthetic digit.

USF Bulls Beat West Virginia for Biggest Win Yet
Tonight, the now 4-0 USF Bulls took the West Virginia Mountaineers to town, beating them 21-13. It is the Bulls’ first win against an AP Top 5 ranked school in the program’s history, in the school’s first year being ranked themselves. Currently ranked 18 in the polls, this win is sure to put the Bulls on the national map.
I’m proud to be a Bull, and my sleeping wife was, and shall evermore be a Bull.
